The Power of Choosing Again
Your Reminder: Every Day is a New Choice
How often do we let one bad moment define an entire day? We wake up late, miss a workout, or hear something discouraging, and suddenly, we’re convinced the day is “ruined.” I have done this more times than I can count. I have spent years convincing myself “I’m all about personal growth” but when life gave me chances to prove that to myself, I’d ignore it and complain.
But here’s the thing: Everything is a choice.
Every moment gives us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and choose differently. Life will never be perfect, and neither will our days—but perfection isn’t the goal. Progress is. The key is learning how to reset when things don’t go as planned.
Hello, Happy Sunday!! :)
I actually had a day like that recently. I woke up with very low energy, skipped my morning routine, and started spiraling into frustration. But instead of letting the day derail me completely, I paused and thought: What can I do now to make this day feel better? I slowed down, gave myself grace, and made small, intentional choices that realigned my day.
Here’s the truth: The choice to turn things around is always yours.

How to Apply This Mindset:
How do you not let a bad moment ruin your entire day?
Recognize the Trigger Moment:
Notice when you’re starting to feel overwhelmed or stuck. It could be a small thing—a bad email, a missed deadline, or simply waking up on the wrong side of the bed 👀Pause and Reflect:
Take a breath (literally). Ask yourself, “Is this moment worth defining my entire day?” Often, the answer is no.Take One Small Step:
What’s one thing you can do to reset? It could be something as small as drinking water, tidying your space, or jotting down a quick to-do list. Progress is about action, no matter how small. (My go-to is forcing myself to make my bed, clean my workspace, make a cup of coffee, turn on flight mode, put on some feel-good music, and go for a walk)Reframe Your Perspective:
Instead of thinking, “This day is ruined”Try: “This is just one moment. I can still make something good out of today.”
Celebrate the Win:
Give yourself credit for choosing differently. Growth comes from recognizing and appreciating those small wins.
Journal Prompts for Reflection:
If you’re feeling inspired to go deeper, here are a few questions to help you reflect:
What’s one small choice I can make today to feel more aligned?
When was the last time I turned a tough moment into a positive experience?
What’s one habit or mindset shift I’ve been avoiding, and how can I take a small step toward it?
As always,
CHALLENGE TIME!!
This week, I challenge you to choose one small way to reset your day when things feel off. Maybe it’s taking a 10-minute walk, stepping away from a screen, or simply pausing to breathe. Let me know what you chose and how it felt—I’d love to hear from you! (just to let me know) Tag it with @elevare.hq on Instagram or comment here on this newsletter!! 😊
Growth isn’t about never slipping; it’s about learning to pivot and recalibrate 😉.
Remember, you don’t have to let one bad moment take over the rest of your day—or your week. The choice is yours.
