Let’s dive in!!!!!

🧠 Living Without Regrets Starts Now.

What is the number one regret of people nearing the end of their lives? Wishing they had the courage to live a life true to themselves. That realization hits hard, but it’s also a wake-up call.

Here’s the truth: Dying isn’t a matter of if, it’s a matter of when and how. This isn’t about fear; it’s about using that knowledge to live more intentionally. Life has a way of flying by, and we spend too much time worrying about what others think rather than focusing on what truly matters to us.

One perspective that stuck with me that I read somewhere is the story of someone who carried their own handwritten obituary in their wallet, not as a reminder of death but as a guide for life. It described the kind of person they wanted to be remembered as.

Every time they read it, it shaped their decisions and reminded them to live in alignment with their values. What if you tried that? What if you wrote down the kind of person you want to be and let that drive your choices?

The biggest takeaway here: It’s not about how others remember you, it’s about how you feel about the life you’ve lived.

→ Write it down.

→ Reflect on it.

→ Build your goals from there.

I talked a bit more about this on The Pivot to Balance Podcast, basically about why this mindset shift matters and how it can transform the way you approach your life! Listen now! 👇

📊 How to Be Data-Driven Without Losing Creativity

We’ve all heard it: “Data is king.” But the truth? Numbers without creativity fall flat. And creativity without direction is just a shot in the dark. Learning how to use both is the real deal. (Trust me, I cannot pick one over the other)

Data gives you clarity…it tells you what’s happening. Creativity gives you a connection—it tells you why it matters. Together, they make your work more impactful, not just functional!!

Here’s what helps:

  1. Start with the Story: Numbers can show you where the gaps are, but it’s the story that fills them. For example, if your website sees a drop-off at 30 seconds, instead of rushing to redesign, ask: What story are we telling, or not telling—that’s leading people to leave???

  2. Ask Specific Questions: Skip the vague “What’s our next big campaign?” Instead, get focused: “Which channel drove the most engagement from Gen Z last quarter, and why?” The more specific your questions, the sharper your insights. (there’s more, I covered that on The Marketing Woman Podcast’s latest episode)

Data tells you where to start, but creativity keeps people coming back. When you combine the two, that’s where the real growth happens!!

BOOK OF THE WEEK

If you could read one book this week, I’d recommend

Looking for your next great read? Here’s one of the first books that got me into personal growth!

One of my favorite lessons from this book is Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood meaning practice empathetic listening to build better relationships :) A lot of people say I’m a great listener, as much as that is just my character, I’ve also learned to do that after reading this classic.
