^{Today's Focus: Don’t Worry About Doing It Well, Just Do It.}

Imposter syndrome, fear of change, fear of judgment, lack of expertise—these feelings stop many of us from going after what we really want.

Personally, this feeling often stems from focusing too much on the outcome. For example: Will this newsletter have a 90% open rate? Will 20% click on the links? These are outcome-driven thoughts, rather than focusing on what I am trying to convey in this edition- What is the one thing I can say today to possibly make someone's day better or help them learn something new?

The Pitfall of Outcome-Based Thinking

Outcome-based thinking kills the growth process.

• Write That Book: Sit down and write that book you want to write instead of thinking, "Will my book make the TikTok book list?" or "Will I be writing this as a series and make generations hooked on my book?"

• Present Creativity: Outcome-based thinking usually kills the creativity of the present. It applies not just to our careers, but to many areas of our lives.

When you allow yourself to be yourself and do what feels right, you make the world better. You really do. The cherry on top is you make everything 100x better for yourself.

Embrace the Moment

Remember that first exam you wrote in undergrad? Do you remember that feeling? Do you remember what course that was? What questions you were asked? Do you even remember how much you scored on that particular test?

No.

But to that version of you at that moment, that was the whole world.

Stop Thinking. Start Doing.

I said this to two friends last night: "More action, less emotion."

Because action creates reaction.
