Life Sucks So Bad

Today's Focus: Life Sucks So Bad

Have you ever sat down and thought, “My life is so bad, I don’t think I will ever get out of this”?

One simple mindset shift I learned this year is to decide that your life in fact does not suck.

Now, let’s dive in!

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned these past few years is that I can change my reality. I can wake up one day and decide to see everything in my life as a wood I need to collect, in order to light a fire that will keep me warm at the end of the journey.

I am going to keep this really short because I would love for you to sit with this.

Think about this…

What happens to you? You can’t control.

How you react to it? You can control.

You are all you are responsible for. No one else and nothing else.

Life is about choices.

When I lived in Cleveland, I woke up every day complaining about how miserable the city was—now that I don’t live there anymore, I sometimes think about the luxury of living in a quiet city surrounded by no one I knew— how much of it I could’ve used even more to work on myself.

So, take a moment today to think about how you can collect the 'wood' in your life and use it to keep your fire burning.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this—what choices are you making today to shape your tomorrow
